About Me
Fashion, music and upcycling have merged! I create purses using real vinyl record albums. One side is the album cover, the other is the vinyl record. I cut, glue, drill and rivet each purse by hand. The unique flap closure on hinges (cut from the record) keeps your personal stuff personal. Long before we began "living green", my family was living green. Thrift was our way of life. Our motto was: "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without." I learned how to craft and create with what was on hand. My first art project was a corn husk doll. Naturally, my need to create something from nearly nothing resulted in ReInvented Vinyl record album purses. The music brings back great memories for all who see a ReInvented Vinyl purse.
