Please note: The strings used in these creations have been played and therefore they may have imperfections, patina, and markings from the frets. This only adds to the charm and uniqueness of the pieces. Each item is hand-made to order and your item may differ slightly from the one pictured.
Each unique piece of jewelry we create comes beautifully packaged and ready to delight as a gift for yourself or someone special in your life!
A portion of the profits from each sale of High Strung Recycled Guitar String Jewelry is donated to Musicians on a Mission(MOAM).
MOAM--a nonprofit organization founded in 2010--was conceived with the goal of utilizing the power of music to create connection and inspire giving. Our events, which showcase some of the best that local music has to offer, create quite a buzz within the community. For each event, a worthy local charity is chosen to receive 100% of the proceeds. Since our inception, we have raised awareness and funds for numerous local charities while touching countless lives in the process. BRACELET SIZING
A bangle bracelet is an ‘O’ shape without a clasp, meaning it needs to slide over the hand. With the instructions provided here you should be able to find your perfect size. Guitar string bangles are very flexible but they do not stretch. If your measurements are accurate you will have no problem finding a bangle that fits!
There are two ways to get your bangle size:
1. Measure a bangle that you already own: Measure the inside diameter of a bangle bracelet you already own and compare it to the chart below.
2. Measure your hand: There are two options here.
The quick version of this is to measure the length between your knuckles. Make a fist and measure the length from your first knuckle to your last knuckle. Refer to the diameter measurements on the chart in order to determine your size.
The other option is to measure the circumference of your hand. To do this, make your hand as small as possible, as if you were putting on bangles, bringing your thumb and little finger together.
Using the tape measure, measure around your hand (across your knuckles) at the widest point. Make note of the actual circumference of your hand and compare it to the bangle circumference in the chart in the photo.
