After visiting the mystical monument Stonehenge I managed to set off the alarms while exiting (true story).
That's when I realized that I couldn't actually take Stonehenge with me, so I made a wool one instead.
The real Stonehenge is 24 feet (7.3 m) tall and made of stone but this one is only 1.4 inches (3.5 cm) tall and made of wool, so it's lightweight and portable.
I hand-sculpted this trilithon out of eco-friendly North Ronaldsay wool (from sheep that eat mainly seaweed).
It's made using a technique called needle felting where I sculpt wool into a solid form using a little barbed needle (you can see the fluffy wool in the 4th picture).
Woolhenge comes in a box, ready for gifting. Comes with a tag describing that it's handmade out of wool.
Sorry, but the real Stonehenge, as seen in the last picture, is not included.
