About the Item

Airship steampunk necklace traveler blessing, antique charms and vintage pocket watch parts. Said to bless the airship traveler with a straight course (stars), a graceful flight (bird), and a warm welcome (key to the city).
I started by hand applying patina and then lightly sanding a 25 mm (1 inch) round bezel cup to the gorgeous bronze color and then I applied a clear sealer. Next I aged, sanded and arranged each of the tiny charms and vintage pocket watch parts in the bezel cup. I handcasted the pendant using jewelers grade resin in two layers to create depth in the pendant. Once cured, I hand forged the vintage filigree to embrace the pendant and suspended it from a half inch antique brass filigree bail from a 18 inch antique brass chain with a lobster claw clasp (necklace can be worn at various lengths). The entire necklace measures approximately 20 inches in length and is 1 inch wide.
The last picture is of the back showing how the filigree wraps around the round bezel cup.
