About the Item

This necklace features one of my handmade clay sand dollars, which was carefully painted and glazed and topped with a cute little flower. Thoughtfully selected vintage buttons hang alongside the dollar from the braided cord necklace (16" with lobster clasp).

Part of the Salt Marsh Creations collection, inspired by the beautiful salt marshes near my home. I live on Cape Ann where the antique stores are as plentiful as the marshes so I tried to instill an antique Victorian look to these pieces via the metal findings as well as the paint techniques of the pendant centerpieces.
