General Info section
Hand-crafted, hand-glazed mid-century lamp pair in blended shades of green ranging from avocado to green apple to citron. Beautiful blue drip glaze highlights the hand-formed pattern in the pottery pieces. Each lamp appears to have been formed by a combination of slip casting and hand work, then glazed individually in a pottery. Their unique nature and variations celebrate that which t so many of us love about mid-century handcrafted pottery.
Displayed with two lampshade possibilities (display only) to spark inspiration, this lamp pair easily qualifies as one of my 101s--fabulous in at least that many applications and locations! Let you mind wander beyond the usual end tables or night stands and look past the mid-century origins of these beauties as well. I can picture these beauties:
-on a sofa table
-on a chest in your entry
-on your long breakfast bar
-on a kitchen island
-on your vanity
-on your library table
-in a teen girl's room
-in a teen boy's room
-on your guest vanity
-in your beach cottage
-at the office, on desk or credenza
-on your built-in bar
-in a masculine environment
-in a traditional setting
-in an eclectic interior
-in a monochromatic room
-in a cottage
-in a bungalow
-in your first apartment
-in a loft
-in your renovated ranch, of course!
-and the list goes on...
