About the Item
This "Gus" style western hat made of Mexican palm leaves has been customized with a new hatband and amazing feathers. I used an old black western belt for the hatband, and woven some blue and white bandana style ribbon around the brim. The style is call "Dirty" gus because it has some dark aging marks on it that gives it the look of being old. This one does not have bolo ties.
On each hat I customize, I add the "La Gringa Ranchwear" sweatband. It's made of minkie fabric (feels like velvet), and is so smooth against your face, you will love it.
Keep the sun off your lovely face in modern cowgirl style. Everyone will envy you when you wear this La Gringa Original hat as no two hats are made the same.
Size is approximately 7 1/4 - 7 1/2. It actually measures 24" inside. If you want to measure your head to see if it will fit, take a soft tape measure and measure around your head just about an inch above your ears.
If it looks like the hat is a little big, the size can be reduced. Let me know if you want some reducer. You put it between sweatband and the hat and it makes it smaller around. It has adhesive on one side, so it will not fall out and will stay in place.
Brim is 4". Crown is 5" high.
