I’m a firm believer that optimism pays off in life. Sometimes life runs smoothly and optimism comes easy. But sometimes, life runs anything but smoothly, and being positive is the last thing you want to do. I’ve learned in my 28 years of life that although worrying and fretting comes easy, it doesn’t do anything to help a stressful situation blow over any quicker.

I like to surround myself with positive words, phrases and quotes to keep me thinking positively, and to keep things in perspective. This approach doesn’t solve every problem, but it sure gets you through the day a little easier.
