I'm ask frequently about wholesale and cringe. I want to do it, but as mentioned above, then I ask myself...do I want to sit at a potters wheel for 8-10 hours a day making the same thing over & over? Price is a big factor also. My retail prices pay my supply bills, advertising etc. I could raise them, but is it really fair to charge the higher price to the everyday customer-MY "BREAD & BUTTER" just to be prepared to make up the difference with an occasional wholesale customer? I have had better luck with consignment. Yes, it's not a done deal, but 15-20% is a lot better than 50% and turning my enjoyment into a back breaking Job! this has been quite insightful.
