A suggestion, don't just stick with design blogs. There are a lot of other niches out there where your etsy store could really stand out. I am a book blogger and while my niche usually is all about books, I am seeing a huge untapped market here. I happen to love etsy and crafting in general, so I follow both areas. So far, I feel like the only one in the book blogging world that even knows that etsy exists. I am small, a few hundred subscribers, but am have been doing a weekly feature on etsy items that are in any way related to reading. (prints, journals, bags, bookmarks, jewelry, etc. that have quotes, characters, or any sort of tie in) The response has been really good. I have no way of knowing if it is turning into sales though.

Expand your blog marketing, all bloggers have homes, have to buy gifts, love art, even when they don't blog about it.

Great tips! I've been working on approaching blogs lately, after first trying banner ads. I found them to be ineffective at generating sales too, so hopefully blog features will be better for me! http://www.etsy.com/shop/pinkycrafts
