The Sweet Side of Etsy
Can you remember when you first heard of Etsy? I saw a segment on a morning talk show and I’ve been hooked ever since. Etsy is all about items that are “handmade” and there is one category in particular that I feel deserves some acknowledgment. The edibles of Etsy.
Having the monstrous sweet tooth that I do, I found it very easy to find several, maybe hundreds, of mouthwatering sweets I would enjoy.
Almonds are a healthy snack, right? Why not add a bit of Belgian chocolate and homemade caramel, just as Nikid did in these Almond Clusters, pictured above.
The fat and happy bakery has combined a rich bittersweet chocolate with buttery shortbread and came up with these Vanilla Bean Shortbread Cookies. Yum!
Do you love eating caramels, but don’t like to take the time to unwrap all the plastic off of them? Well, you could purchase these Heavenly Tahitian Vanilla Caramel Bars in bulk and avoid all of that. Just cut whatever size you would like. She, haveitconfections, notes that her ingredients are all natural, usually organic, preservative free and 90% of her products are gluten free.
Along the lines of organic, I found these Organic Chocolate Espresso Brownies, which the picture alone makes me want to take a bite out of the screen. Jeanette Spatisserie ships a half dozen of these brownies to you in her green eco-friendly packaging.
Being a dog lover I couldn’t resist these Gourmet Dog Paw Lollipops, created by PernillasSS. She used milk chocolate and butterscotch to make these adorable lollipops.
4CupcakesSake has a great idea of putting a cupcake in a jar. This would make a perfect little gift for someone special. Her photos are great and it was hard to choose just one to share with you, but I believe this one is scrumptious, the Choco Vanilla Fella’ Cupcake Love Jar. Just grab a fork and your all set.
To close my article I found these Fudge Filled Sandwich Cookies – Vegan, made by SweetVConfections. All of the items in her shop are vegan. A creamy fudge frosting in between two sweet sugar cookies, what else could I need?
There are so many other wonderful sellers out there with shops full of edibles to tickle your taste buds. From the Twilight themed Sugar Cookies to the adorable Baby Announcement Cookies, I would have a hard time selecting just one. You can truly see that each person has put a lot of time and detail into something they love to do.
