I have a two year old and have a full time jewellery business!! It is hard and sometimes I say.. I can't wait till he is old enough for school so I can get some uninterrupted time to be productive, but i know that that day will come very soon and i need to slow down and enjoy the good parts of age two!! :) heh heh

What I do to stay productive is I researched the best times to list products and do social networking and I do that stuff at that time. In between I spend all my time with my son and after he goes to bed at 7:00 I start making jewellery and packaging it... though I have been really tired lately from staying up to late packaging the orders so I might have to fit that in during the day.

I have a 15 month old boy and it is because of him and my love to create that I started my Etsy shop. Right now, I work at nap time and at night when he is in bed. I also have a part time job as well. I created my shop because I want to share my passion with others. I want to see others wearing my jewelry! One day, my hope is to be able to make enough income from my etsy shop so I can be with my boy 100% of the time. I do a bit of work during the day with him, but he is why I am at home, so I can raise him and be with him! My Etsy shop is my joy, not a job! =) Your job should be what you LOVE to do and I am so thankful my husband has allowed me to be with son most of the time and he understands the need for me to have my shop! =)

I am a married mom of a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. I have 2 PT jobs. It is difficult finding time to fit everything it and still feel sane! I do my first job (at home medical transcription) in the morning while my 5-year-old attends Pre-K and am usually finished by noontime. In the afternoon while the kids are napping (or at least laying down for an hour) I work on my sewing. It is nice to be able to work at home and be here when my girls need me! I know they will grow up way too fast and I will be longing for days when they hang off my ankles. For now I work with a lot of interruptions, no set schedule, and lots of patience!

I am a single mom and I have two young home learners...we dedicate the mornings to lessons and in the afternoons I sew, this is of course not a solid work time as there are meals and the usual interruptions but the girls are learning to be independent. I do keep a separate work room and they also have their own craft area...I am fortunate to live in a quiet 'hood with a nice yard so they spend most afternoons enjoying the great outdoors. I usually do computer stuff in the evenings after they have gone to bed- trying not to set the example of sitting in front of a screen....so far it works and I wouldn't trade the time with my kids for anything.
