That is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cool!
I know… right?
Oh wow! Love old bathtubs! Not sure how I feel about having one in my living room though!! Very interesting!
Hugs,
Gina
What a COOL idea!!! I love these! Hubby would never have them though, not good for afternoon naps!
These are cool maybe for a store maybe ?
How cool is that? I’ve seen a lot of different couches but never anything like this. Bravo how unique!!
Great idea, wish I had the space!
Now this is TOO MUCH can’t wait for my daughter that has a Farm House that they are remodeling. She has collected so many older items that I would not doubt she has one of these Tubs on hand. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I love Handmade Spark since I discovered it on FB and Susansbeads.
I love the upcycling idea, especially with your own custom fabric! They would be a great centre piece of a modern house and a great conversation started!
Love these! A very awesome repurposing!
Now that is one way to recycle. Love it….Puts a new light on saying, “sitting in the tub reading.”
This is awesome. I love claw-foot tubs, must say I have never quite seen anything like this though.
Ha ha! Good one:) I wonder if its comfy? I’d love to curl up and find out!
These bath tub couches are awesome, I wish I had one for every room in my house!
That would be amazing in a loft apartment, or in the lobby of a gallery – but I would not want to be the one helping move it!
Love it, I’m definitely sharing this on my page, cause it deserves it……how unique.
Love the colors, particularly the red legs. The Old Governor’s Mansion here in Sacramento has a claw foot bath tub – one of the governor’s children who lived in the house painted the ‘claws’ nails with nail polish!
I like this better than making the tub into a planter box like so many people do! Way to spark ideas!
Thanks so much for featuring our Couches on your blog! We love making these and get attached to each one that is ordered. And for all the comfy questions – the are actually surprisingly comfortable! Thanks again and happy weekend everyone!
wow, WAYYYY Cool!! I have one of these in my garage, hoping to replace my regular tub but hmmmm
i love the colors and Yes, they ARE comfy to curl up in and read. I remember many a time putting the kids to bed, taking a book, filling up the tub…refilling the tub…saying goodnight to my hubby…refilling the tub…til i hear his alarm go off! i hurried out so he wouldnt know i spent the ENTIRE NIGHT in the tub reading!
Brilliant creativity! This is amazing, love the colour combination!
wow..some people just have unlimited imagination!!..wonderful marriage of vintage and modern..
Love the colors and the contemporary print in combo.
I agree with MaryAnne…. inventive and imaginative!
Very cool as well!
Brilliant! Something to sink into at the end of a hard day’s work…without the need for soap!!!
Funky, colourful, elegant, stylish AND clever. Did I mention the mattresses are ace too?
Come to PE, we have quite a few on show. They have been used for years here, in different settings, can be a bit cold to sit in though, but do look amazing with the right cushions and throws
oh so ‘breakfast at tiffany’s”…. holly would be proud
Wow…How fun and unique!! Love it!!
Great conversation piece.
What a great idea the colors are fabulous. Amazing what a creative mine can come up with.
