Shopping For Vinyl? Here Are Some Reclaimed Re-purposed Vinyl Finds
Some of the earliest Vinyl records were pressed back in 1893. Although we live in a
“Digital Era” we can still find vinyl at our local music stores, thrift shops, tag sales,
and antique outlets. I searched through the many talented artists on Etsy.com and
came up with a handful of interesting products created from Vinyl. Like
the Vinyl Fortune Cookie Pendant, seen above made by xandydesigns. Carry a bit
of good luck with you.
ROCKANDROLLCOASTERS uses the 45 RPM record to make these drink coasters.
She offers a LOT of different selections to choose from.
In need of a card holder? Try this Record Business Card Holder, designed by
reVisionDesign. Good idea.
Ladies, are you into funky jewelry? This Vinyl Record Cuff will make a great
conversation piece. This Oregon artist, EyePopArt, loves working with vinyl.
And let’s not forget about the gentlemen. These Red Vinyl Cufflinks will add a
splash of color to the standard white shirt. The creator, qacreate, offers them
in a variety of colors.
Coffee table full of remote controls and other various items? Why not put
everything into a Led Zeppelin Record Bowl. The designer, Chicalookate, offers
several music genre’s to select from.
I found an artist from Michigan, recyclemania, who uses vinyl records to create
a Vinyl Record Notebook. Clever.
And for my last find I came across yet another practical item that we could all
use somewhere in our house. The Vintage Ella Fitzgerald Record Album Tray.
Made by brindakaydesign. She has no fear of power tools and jumps right into
each project.
