The sound of school bells ringing, children bustling, and the wonderful scent of new school supplies… I love it all! Back to school always conjures up such vivid memories of butterflies in the belly anticipating a new teacher and a new school year.  Yet, at the same time, the new school year held such promise of wonderful, exciting things to come!

Although it is now my eight year old with the butterflies, I am still left with the sense of wonderful anticipation as I return to a “normal” schedule & routine and embark on new creative ideas and projects that I am just dying to sink my teeth into.

So even though I am a mom now and no longer in school I still enjoy getting my hands on some new supplies, especially notebooks to house all my ideas and creative endeavors.
