In 2008, Polaroid announced that they were discontinuing their Instant film. After this announcement, there was an uproar of requests from artists, photographers, and all kinds of Polaroid-lovers around the globe to bring it back, so they did!     These are adorable! I have great memories of my parents taking pictures of us when we were little with the little light bulb that would pop and flash when taking the picture. (Now I am dating myself arne't I?) LOL!

    Awesome picks! Polaroid never went away for me and so many others that love the fun of an instant camera and the unique pictures they produce.

    I have got to mention the work of The Impossible Project who have been doing an amazing job at keeping the Polaroid dream alive after the company itself announced it was closing. They've been selling the remaining stocks of film at reasonable prices and working with ex-Polaroid employees to produce instant film again.
