Playing in the Dirt
Are you ready for Spring?
Have a garden?
Do you like playing in the dirt?
If you answered “yes” to the above three questions, then proceed.
It’s now March and I’m very anxious to get my garden planted. This will be my third year and it keeps getting bigger. I’ve found many distinctive items to utilize in the garden throughout the Etsy shops.
Are you a first time gardener? The Garden Bon Bons, as pictured above, would be a great way to start. They are little coin sized balls of clay, compost soil, and seed. A nice all-in-one deal. Just place them in a sunny area in the ground, water, and watch them grow. Fresh herbs from the supermarket tend to be a bit on the pricey side, so grow your own fresh herbs and pick them as needed.
With having the herbs planted, you need markers to distinguish where and what they are. Here is a Vintage Silverware Garden Marker Set of 3, by Monkeysalwayslook. You can place them in the ground or in your pots.
I found another set that I liked. The Copper Herb Garden Markers – Set of 8. These were created by buttermilkhollow. These markers are suspended on a 11′ stake.
Now, I’ve got the herbs covered, what about the veggies? How about these Veggie Garden Stakes – Set of 3, created by fromArtisanHands? They are cut from slabs of stoneware, stamped, and then glazed. You can choose 3 from a list of 19 different veggies.
And my last find would satisfy both myself and my beloved four legged friends. HappyMooseGardenArt has a great idea with these Animal Lovers Hand Painted Flower Pots. The seller offers to customize a pot in your favorite animal and colors. Great gift idea for the pet and their owner.
Good Luck with your garden.
