Packaging Affordably-Guide for Sellers

packaging affordably

Featuring a blog post from Etsy Treasure Chest.

I wrote a blog post about packaging your items affordably, and I had lots of input and ideas from other sellers!

The goal here is to package cutely, yet affordably! Sometimes it really is a struggle to determine the best method to package your items.

As a customer, I personally don’t want to pay extra for fancy packaging unless I am sending it as a gift to someone. But as a seller, I do want to present my goods nicely, without having to charge extra.

My top pick comes from Gracie Designs, who uses lunch bags and fabric scraps for packaging her goods.

This is a fantastic idea. I have tons of fabric and I just bought 200 white lunch bags I might just get my stamps out and stamp on the bags in bright colors too. Something to do in front of the TV at night when I’m not torching.

    thanks,

Adorable! I always package my items in folded tissue paper with ribbon or a bit of embroidery (depending on size & bulk) with a bookmark/key tag. I love this simple, but effective idea, as well! Thanks for showing us one of the great ways sellers package their items!

I must say I love a nice bit of packaging, even if its not a gift it feels like one :)

Love the tips! Do you have any tips on wrapping items that are a bit awkward in size/shape – eg seated dolls?

I do struggle wrapping my dolls – please feel free to check out my blog to get a better understanding of what I am talking about..http://funkydolldesign.blogspot.com – click on Zinnia left hand side column

    Thank you in advance!
