I let my husband decide on today’s finds. Talk of football is in the air so here is a guy’s guide to a couple of must have football watching items.  According to him, top on the football watching list are: coasters (to stay out of trouble), serving dishes (conversation starter geekiness), grilling apron (to at least act like he is a grilling pit boss), stadium blanket (because we are cold weather wimps), custom cozy (no explanation needed).  He has been obsessed with collegiate gear after a visit to one of his friend’s houses. Their house has subtle hints of their favorite team nestled in their guest bath, kitchen, bbq grill, ice chest and is topped off with a matching mascot bulldog (no joke). He reminded me that it is our duty as parents to brain wash our children early into loving our favorite team.  Thankfully I talked him out of painting our guest bath cherry red and jet black and agreed to let him throw in a couple of well placed logos here and there.  I really can’t complain too much, my husband is much more of a soccer fan than football so at least my seasons of being a sports widow are few and far between.
