Do you ear what I ear? (part three)

This is part three of my ongoing earrings addiction: ways to display your earrings. You can read part one here and part two here.

I love earrings. Always have. And being a part of Etsy, I see lots of earrings. And I favorite them, and I heart them, and I covet them.

Now I need to display my earrings. And Etsy has an abundance of creative ways to do just that!

When attending craft shows, I am always attracted to earrings that are presented on unique displays.

Put a pair of earrings on a regular earring display rack (little holes in straight lines), and then put the same pair of earrings on one of these displays… See the difference? Your customers will too!

Consider showing off at least some of your earrings on a unique display piece such as one of these.

And to save money, how about doing an exchange with one of the earring tree makers on Etsy?

You can provide them with earrings to use in their photographs, and they can provide you with a tree to use in yours.

Both of you can then use the exchanged pieces to show off your creations at craft shows and galleries.

And consider working out an arrangement where you could supply interested customers with the other artist’s contact info (business cards are handy here!) so they could get more information.

Or how about offering to sell the earring display pieces at your craft show, with a percentage going back to the artist?

Whether you are an earrings addict like me, or you are a jewelry artist, show off your collection with a unique display that doubles as a piece of art.

  1. You should check out http://barbsbows.etsy.com she has some SUPER amazing upcycled earring holders!! She does custom orders too!!

  2. Yes, you definitely have a thing for earrings! LOL! I’ve displayed my earrings in the shop similarly to some of the ways you’ve shown here however I am thinking of just placing them already in a gift box ready to go. I think it might have a more gift-able appeal tho not as artistic looking? Thoughts?

  3. Thanks Becky for the heads up on the shop! You’re right – great earring holders!

Lisa – I agree, especially with a brick-n-mortar store, that displaying earrings in a gift box does have its appeal for a ready-to-go gift. Especially with Mother’s Day coming up. I like your idea of using both ways, if it is possible to do so!

For earring sellers, I think that is also an excellent idea to display some of the earrings in open gift-boxes so that shoppers can see what a nice presentation they will get with their purchase.
    Great idea!

    Thanks Becky and Lisa!

  4. I really love some of these jewelry storage & display solutions. I’ve been gathering some ideas on how to clean up my vanity space.

  5. Thanks Cassandra – I’m so glad these idea might help! :)
