I think if you want to be serious about your etsy business you need to think about branding. Having one cohesive look from your shop banner to your packaging can make such a lasting impression on your customers that they will remember your shop when it’s time to purchase that gift of splurge on that treat. Take the time to figure out a logo for your business. If you are not tech-saavy, turn to a fellow Etsian for help. There are several wonderful graphic artists on Etsy who would be able to work with you to create a brand look worth remembering.

Creating an image/brand/genre/look to your shop, with beautifully written item descriptions is key! Great looking photos, beautiful models, or backgrounds that don’t distract from the item are also important.  A clean, crisp, professional, over all image tells people who you are as an artist, and what your aesthetic point of view is all about!!
